Criteria which the KTC in Königstein more than fulfills.
Hygiene- and HACCP-Certification of Institut Fresenius
As hotel guest, one expects a high level of cleanliness and hygiene - in front and behind the scenes. In addition to our strict internal controls, our kitchens and rooms are regularly tested by the Fresenius Institute in accordance with EU hygiene regulations.
Test areas in our kitchen include personal hygiene, cleaning and disinfection of surfaces, equipment and random samples of food. In our rooms cleanliness in general is tested, as well as surfaces and sanitary areas.
"Safehotel Star" - Your safety is our highest priority
A total of 1,5 million Euros were invested in the first half of 2012 in order to ensure that the KTC Königstein, with its 40 meeting rooms and 218 hotel rooms, meets the current fire safety requirements. Through modern fire alarms and LED-emergency lighting, we are prepared should the worst come to worst.
The inspection and certification to "Safehotel" includes constructional requirements, such as escape routes and building technology as well as organized fire safety measures and the regular training of personnel. Well-trained employees and early warning through smoke alarms are the two main elements in a first-rate fire safety program.
